TENANCY DEPOSIT SCHEME Did you know...as of April 6th 2007 it is compulsory for all Letting Agents and Landlords taking deposits for assured shorthold tenancies to register the deposits in a Government authorised tenancy deposit scheme. This will protect all the deposits Landlords and Agents take. Jasmine Estates will be using The Deposit Protection Service (The DPS). The scheme is authorised by Communities and Local Government and is managed by Computershare Investor Services Plc. The DPS uses an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) service which is run by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
