Legal work - choose your solicitor carefully check what they are offering and their fees 7. Surveys - these are normally tied to mortgages and booked via your mortgage adviser 8. Exchange - Contracts get exchanged you are almost there 9. Completion - ready to move, you are now a proud owner of a new property
